Parenting today often feels like a tug-of-war between fast-paced modern demands and our deeper instinct to nurture children with presence and patience. Many parents feel alone, pulled between societal pressures and the desire to be there for their kids.

The Bloom Community exists to reconnect parents with Worldwide Indigenous ways of parenting, rooted in relationship, community, and belonging, while weaving in the insights of Neurorelational Care to help us understand what children (and we) need to thrive.

We're here for everyone, and those raising and working with exceptional children are particularly drawn to our methods. They are PDA friendly, trauma-informed, and take the needs of the adult into account, too.

Q&A

where you can get parenting questions answered

Who is the Bloom Community for?

The Bloom Community is for parents, caregivers, and educators who:
  • Want a trauma- and sensory-informed way of responding to children's behaviors
  • Want to transform their relationship with children into ways that honor them as sovereign beings
  • Feel drawn toward Worldwide Indigenous parenting practices that promote a more horizontal (egalitarian), rather than vertical (authoritarian), relationship with children
  • Are ready to practice parenting with less fear and more trust
  • Want parenting to become less stressful, more playful, and joyful.

Who are we?

The Bloom Community is hosted by Betty & Amelia, parent coaches that bridge Worldwide Indigenous parenting practices with science from NeuroRelational Care, a model that helps children and adults reduce stress and build resilience.
We believe that healing challenging emotions and behaviors comes from restoring connection: to self, to children, and to community.
