We don’t write formal Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individualized Care Plan (ICP) documents. However, we can help you get ready for those meetings by helping you understand your child’s needs, clarify your priorities, and gather information to share with the team by creating a NeuroRelational Framework Customized Collaborative Care Summary. Many families find this preparation makes their IEP/ICP meetings more effective and much less stressful.
Do you write reports?
We don’t write formal evaluations or diagnostic reports. We can provide brief written summaries of our work together so you have something concrete to refer back to or share with your child’s team if you choose. We can also create an NeuroRelational Framework Customized Collaborative Care Summary, which summarizes your child’s current abilities and needs.
What is a home visit?
A home visit is when we come to your home to provide coaching and support in your child’s everyday environment. This helps us see your routines and interactions in real time so we can offer personalized guidance.
Do you do in-person workshops?
Yes. We offer in-person workshops for parents, caregivers, and professionals upon request. Our asking price is $1600 an hour for both Amelia and Betty working together.
What ages do you work with?
We work with people of all ages. In addition to adults who raise and work with children, we sometimes work with adults who want to learn how to re-parent themselves.
Qualifications & Limitations
Are you licensed? Do you take insurance?
We aren’t licensed providers, so we’re not able to bill insurance directly. However, some participants have successfully submitted our services to their HSA or with a superbill for reimbursement.
Can you diagnose or prescribe?
We do not provide medical or mental health diagnoses, and we do not prescribe medication.
Can you serve as an expert witness?
No, we don’t serve as expert witnesses in legal cases. Our role is to support you and your child, not to participate in legal processes.

Are your services available in any other languages?

What areas do you service in person?
We primarily serve the Seattle area and nearby communities. For locations outside this area, travel arrangements may be possible by special agreement. Our in-person fee is $300 per hour.
Can you serve the Deaf and Blind communities?
Yes. We are happy to work with Deaf/Blind children and families. We collaborate with families to ensure appropriate communication supports and accommodations are in place.
Approach & Philosophy
What is the NeuroRelational Framework (NRF)?
The NRF is a culturally inclusive, trauma-informed approach to understanding children. It helps adults see what’s happening underneath challenging behaviors, and shows how to build safety, connection, and resilience so kids can thrive.
Are you behaviorists?
No, we aren’t behaviorists. Instead of focusing on changing behavior from the outside, we focus on building relationships, understanding what drives behavior, and supporting regulation so children can grow and flourish.
Are there disabilities you don’t work with?
No, we work with children of all abilities.
