Day 1: Don’t Call it Bad Behavior—Call it a Stress Response!
April 6, 5 - 6:30 p.m. | FREE
This is an information session about why it helps to change our paradigms from reacting to behaviors to responding to the stress that gives rise to them. We'll give you an overview of the NeuroRelational Framework, delve into how you can apply it to yourself while you use it to help children and families, and answer any questions you may have about this upcoming training series. Recommended before attending any trainings in the series.

Day 2: Co-Regulation Gets Children and Families Ready to Learn
April 13, 5 - 6:30 p.m. | $75
How do you assess for toxic stress, and what do you do about it once you find it? This training day will show you how to measure stress in a nervous system, identify whether it is toxic (harmful) or adaptive (helpful) to growth and development, and give you paradigm shifts needed for lowering toxic stress and building resilience.
Register for Day 2Day 3: How to Use Your Relationship to Heal
May 4, 5 - 6:30 p.m. | $75
Relationships are key to building resilience in children and families. This training day answers the questions, "How do we assess when and where a relationship needs help?" "How can I build a stronger relationship with my child, despite the pressures?" "How can I build strong relationships with families without compromising my own well-being?" And, "How can I help families build strong relationships with each other?"
Register for Day 3Day 4: A Holistic Approach to Children’s Behaviors
May 11, 5 - 6:30 p.m. | $75
Behaviors aren't simply choices children make just to get what they want. They are elicited from the autonomic nervous system as stress-based urges to feel better in the moment. Feeling better means being better; it leads to physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing; and wellbeing leads to better academic performance. This training day looks at the four brain systems to find the sources of these stress-based urges. Rarely is there only one stressor, so we'll also show you how to prioritize them and match them with resilience-building interventions.
