Parent Coaching

$1650 for 8 online sessions

Choose between two coaching options:

Option 1: Coaching Interactions

In each session, you describe your interactions with a child(ren), and we discuss how to move toward making those interactions healing and more joyful.

Option 2: Customized Collaborative Care Summary

We co-create a Customized Collaborative Care Summary from NeuroRelational Care: an assessment profile of your child's nervous system stress, quality of relationship engagement, and stress triggers to create toolkits for healing them. This summary would communicate your child's needs and how to meet them to professionals who work with your child.

Testimonials

"I am an infant and early childhood mental health specialist and still experience rage, dissociation, and a feeling of failure in my parenting. Leaning on Betty has been like having a safe, understanding, brilliant auntie down the road who's fully accepting of me and ready to help. Betty's understanding of the neurobiology of both children and parents is deeply freeing and transformative. Recently, I've been learning to meet my sensitive child in his biggest feelings of aggression - playfully - until he melts into his loving self, all while releasing my own stress through the exchange. It has made meeting his feelings cathartic and even fun."

"Amelia has changed all of our lives for the better. She is a light that shines so bright, and we’re grateful to have encountered her.
"Our son is very sensitive and non-neurotypical; he has challenges with impulse control, and typically won't accept care from anyone but immediate family. Amelia has turned out to be a wonderful exception to this precedent--not only does he trust her to spend time with him, he also looks forward to and really enjoys their time together.

"Amelia's holistic approach to working with our son has helped us and him. It has allowed all of us to experience healing and learn how to regulate ourselves as well as our child.
"It is a true gift for us to know that when we are experiencing inter-family hardship or one of us isn’t available, [Our child] can depend on Amelia to offer additional support. She is always regulated and has given our son words for his feelings and tools to express his big emotions. She supports and honors his vitality, and can listen in a way that myself or my partner are sometimes unable to.
"It is not hyperbole to describe Amelia as a miracle worker or angel--she is! Most importantly, she is always present and focused on the goal of families working with and loving each other to the fullest extent possible."
"Betty has been a lifeline for me on my parenting journey (three kids 10, 13, 16).  I have sought Betty's guidance during a few situations with my 13-year-old son this past year.  She gave me ideas and suggestions quite different from my initial response.  Her counsel worked!  On a daily level, I use the simple tips she has advised with much success.  I highly recommend turning to Betty for parenting coaching.  Five Star Rating!"
